Okay let’s spell the word again!

One of the important ingredients in bringing up a child with autism is PATIENCE.

Let’s have some situations here 👇👇👇

WHAT’S THE MAGIC WORD?

Yes you say it right!

Wait before you scream…

REMEMBER THE MAGIC WORD!

👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄

Take a deep breath and reminisce the magic word.

I think you know now what to do.

All of this misbehavior are just part of their condition that need to be addressed.

They also need to be disciplined. But in a positive way.

Remember that they also have feelings.

They feel sad when you raise your voice at them.

They feel disappointed whenever they can’t follow your instructions.

I do believe they also don’t want to disobey you but they just don’t know how.

Whenever you’re messed up!

ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE BASIC!

That’s your loving child. A blessing from God. Part of your life.

  1. I believe patience should always be partnered with lots of understanding why the child with autism behaves in a certain way– like tantrums, crying and screaming, hyperactive. Most of the time, there is a reason why the child reacts that way— and the moment you know how to address it, you are helping the child manage his/her behavior.
I’ve been following your posts, and i admire you and Manny for the way you handle it. No need to mention about patience — you both have been abundantly gifted with it, so with the family acceptance. It is also a big factor that the child feels and treated as equal by family and his/her peers.
